Special Educational Needs (SEND)
At St Mary's, the special educational needs and disabilities of children are identified through observation, assessment and discussions with parents/carers/previous school records and health agencies, for example, GP, school nurse etc. Parents/carers are consulted at every stage and invited to attend meetings with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and support services.
