At St. Mary's, we want all of our children to be happy, healthy, independent, responsible and confident individuals. Through discussions and activities in separate PSHE lessons, focused days and links in other curriculum areas, the children develop their communication skills, self-esteem, the understanding of building positive relationships with others, their ability to express their feelings and resilience skills in coping with life’s challenges.
We use the JIGSAW scheme of work to bring a mindful approach to the Physical, Social, and Health Education of our pupils.
Through our Smart School Council, all the children in our school are involved in taking an active role to make decisions and shape our community.
