Inclusion

At St Mary's, we believe that every child is unique, and every child matters.

Inclusion is at the heart of our school. We are committed to making sure all children, whatever their background, ability, needs, or starting points, feel safe, valued, and supported to achieve their very best.

From the classroom to the playground, and in everything we do, we make sure our school is a place where all children can thrive. We design our curriculum, environment, and routines to reflect the diverse needs of our pupils and remove any barriers to learning.

We aim to build a strong sense of belonging, where every child feels part of our school community and is encouraged to be proud of who they are.

Working closely with parents and carers is a key part of our inclusive approach. We value these partnerships and know that by working together, we can help all children grow in confidence, enjoy learning, and succeed.

At St Mary's, inclusion helps every child, and every member of our school community, to be the best that we can be.
