Reception Admissions 

Reception and in-year applications

For reception places and in-year transfers, please follow the following steps:

All applicants should complete two forms.

These are the Local Authority's Common Application Form (CAF).  You are encouraged to complete the CAF online at https://www.merton.gov.uk/education-and-learning/schools/admissions. If this is not possible, paper copies are available from the school office. This form should be submitted to the Local Authority, online or on paper, by the date published by the Local Authority. No application is valid without completion of a CAF.

· The school's Additional Information Form. The Additional Information Form should be returned to the school. If an Additional Information Form is not completed the school cannot rank the application until all applicants who have returned an Additional Information Form have been considered. Please find these documents below. 

Catholic applicants should also:

·    Provide the child’s baptismal certificate to the school, who will make a copy. If the child gains a place at the school, a copy of the birth certificate must also be provided prior to the child starting school.

·    Provide a Certificate of Catholic Practice to the school, signed and stamped by your parish priest, or the priest at the Parish or Ethnic Chaplaincy at which you worship.

Applicants of other faiths should also:

Provide evidence of baptism/reception and evidence of worship where applicable.

For applications for Reception admission in September 2026 forms should be returned to the Local Authority and to the school by 15 January 2026
